What is the difference between local, intrastate, and long-distance moves?
Local moves are under about 50 miles and billed by the hour. Intrastate moves stay inside California, cover 100 miles or more, and are priced by weight. Long-distance moves cross state lines.
Which areas do you serve?
We are based in Salinas and serve Monterey, San Benito, Fresno, Madera, San Joaquin, and Merced counties, with moves to and from anywhere in California. See all of our service locations.

Yes. Southbay Moving Systems holds USDOT #2967929 and MC #1213784, is fully insured, and is a certified ProMover. You can look up any California mover on the Department of Consumer Affairs license search.
Do you offer storage?
Yes. Our 20,000 sq ft warehouse is climate-controlled and monitored 24/7, for short-term or long-term moving and storage.
