Do you move grand and baby grand pianos?
Yes. For grands and baby grands we remove the legs and pedal lyre, wrap the body in moving blankets, and strap it on its side to a padded piano board. At your new home we reassemble it and set it where you want it.
Can you move a piano up or down stairs?
Yes. Stairs are the most common reason people call us instead of trying it themselves. We ask about the number of steps, landings, and tight turns when we quote, so the right size crew shows up with the right equipment.
Will my piano need tuning after the move?
Usually, yes. Changes in temperature and humidity during a move can pull a piano slightly out of tune, even when nothing bumps it. Most piano technicians suggest waiting two to four weeks so the piano can settle into its new room before tuning.
Do you move pianos long distance?
